I found myself marveling at Amusing Ourselves to Death for a long list of reasons, but one that struck me the most is the reference to communication. In our everyday lives, communication is still key, but devices such as Iphones,Androids, and any cellular device really, has made this communication accessible at the tip of our fingers. Even this blog is a perfect example of how things have drastically changed from Postman's time. Before, there were no blogs, they were the book clubs that say down on one night of the week,and discussed the various elements of books , exactly like we are doing.
