This blog is semi-closed: anyone can read, but only invited guests can write. To participate in summer homework in 2013, you must send AFletcher an email requesting an invitation. At the meeting, I asked you to read the assignment on the blog so you could see what you were getting into before signing up; if you decide to participate, get the invitation so you can write.

Just A Thought
I noticed in this world of ours, many people are either watching television, playing videogames or just being on the computer. But what amazes me the most is that children at the age of three or four are glued to the screen. Call me old fashioned but I find that sad because children nowadays do not go outside and take a breather as much as people used to before technology took over. Because of this, many children are going to be blind by our age because the screen is always touching their noses. Look what technology did! Yes our generation is bad but not overwhelmingly bad like the newer generations. Even as babies, entertainment is in order so the children won't bother their parents when they are working or relaxing from a hard day at work. Also, some schools now are having ipads as textbooks so in a way the machines are teaching the children, not the teachers. This reminds me of Brave New World because the children are taught by machines in their sleep. What is this world coming to if i may ask?
